Normally, the main faucet sensors in the market are all used IR sensors. It detects your hands’ position close or leave to turn on or off the water. Completely without touching any place from the faucet, provides us with a clean environment for living.
So once the sensors are not working, how can we troubleshoot to find the reason?
Let me introduce sensor faucet troubleshooting step by step in the following:
1. Please check if there is any dirt on the sensor window (or called sensor lens, sensor case), please clean the sensor window.
2. Make sure the water supply is turned on.
3. Please check whether the power is on or whether the battery is installed in the battery box. Make sure the battery is new and of the same brand and the polarity is correct.
4. After powering on, please check whether the sensor flashes 5 times:
(1). If it does not flash 5 times, it means that the sensor is not working and needs to be replaced with a new one.
(2). If it flashes 5 times, it means the sensor is working. Then check two points: First, make sure the water pressure is on 0.05-0.8Mpa. Secondly, clean the solenoid valve filter if there is dirt.
