How does an automatic sensor soap dispenser work? Generally when hands are placed in the proximity of the sensor, the infrared sensor detects human hands and triggers the pump to activate and dispense the designated amount of soap. Now the question is what kind of soap/liquid can be used in the touchless soap dispensers?
What kind of soap do you put in a touchless soap dispenser? It’s suggested that the soap used in touchless soap dispensers should be in a thin liquid form so that the dispenser can easily dispense the soap on our hands. Will regular soap work in the foaming dispenser? The answer is No. Because the regular soap is too thick for a foaming dispenser, you need to reduce the viscosity by diluting it in water. On the other hand, if the soap is too thick, we should dilute the thick soap to the thin one. At the same time, the soap should be gentle on the skin and suitable for all skin types.
Another question is what is the soap to water ratio for foaming soap? Rajyen’s soap dispenser is 2:1 ratio (water and soap). As an alternative, you can also just mix liquid hand or dish soap with water to make a DIY foaming soap. If choosing this method, use a 2:1 ratio of water to soap. Combine the two ingredients in your foaming soap dispenser and turn it or shake it to ensure they mix together. How much soap does a soap dispenser dispense? Disposable liquid soap dispensers typically eject about 2 mL per pump, while disposable foaming soap dispensers eject approximately 1.5 mL. Refillable pump (or manual) dispensers for both liquid and foaming soap dispense an average of 1 mL per pump. Rajeyn’s soap dispenser dispense 1.5-2 mL per pump. And importantly, the soap volume is adjustable by a remote controller based on your specific need.
