Description
Active infrared touchless sensors use the emission and reception of infrared beams to detect the presence and/or movement of objects or people in their field of detection. The technology is ideal for applications requiring a long and narrow detection range.
The active infrared proximity sensor is widely used because of its low cost, small size and low power consumption. Our active infrared detection module can work reliably in 10000LUX light environment, pass 4KV/5khz group pulse experiment and pass EMC certification. When the temperature changes from 5℃ to 60℃, the induction sensor distance changes by less than 8%.
● A variety of sizes and shapes are available for most applications.
● Low power consumption, with an average static current of less than 30UA (or less than 10UA in some cases). It is suitable for various battery-powered applications.
● The sensor distance can be adjusted from 5 mm to 1500mm (30cm x 30cm standard whiteboard as reference). Sensor distance can be customized.
● Various sensor distance adjustment methods: by remote controller, automatically adjust the induction distance by human intervention on power-on, and automatically adjust the induction distance according to the environment.

As the most important part, the work of the sensor is to forward the signals to the valve to turn on the faucet after detecting your hand. Its job is to inform the valve when to start or stop the flow based on the presence or absence of your hands. In most cases, infrared light sensors are often placed on the faucet body while this sensor eye SLC-00001 is put at the tip of the faucet spout, which is widely used for automatic basin faucets, especially for types that the sensor is installed on the faucet spout/aerator (sensor at faucet tip).
Function: Automatic on/off. This is the regular function for touchfree basin water faucets. You put your hands on the sensor range, water automatically flows. You remove your hands out of the sensor range, water automatically stops. The water will automatically stop flowing if continuously flowing for 60 seconds (We call this function security stop timing and this timing can be customized).
