Besides lithium battery operated DIY sensor faucet, Rajeyn develops another model that powered by two pieces alkaline batteries. Like other touchless faucets, the alkaline batteries powered sensor faucet has following features.
#1. Convenience. You just need to wave the sensor, water will start to flow automatically. You wave the sensor again, water will automatically stop; #2. Hygiene. Touchless design faucet provides hands-free and germ-free operation; #3. Water saving. Water efficient faucet reduces overall water usage without sacrificing water pressure; #4. Energy saving. Battery shall last approximately 100 times per day for 1 year.
Different from the lithium model, this alkaline model batteries are easy to be replaced. Users can handle by themselves. The sensor indicator will flash if battery power is low, alerting you to replace batteries. At the same time, sensor will turn off the valve to avoid water sacrificing if battery is running out. Then how to replace RJY-10-P101’s battery? Step 1: Press the button at buttom as the arrow showed and the battery case will pumps out. Step 2: Replace with two pieces AAA alkaline batteries and put them back. But make sure that the batteries polarity are installed correctly. Important note is do not mix new and old batteries or different brands batteries.
The product installation is quite easy too. Firstly, you turn off the basin/kitchen faucet handle and unscrew the faucet nozzle. Secondly, select correct male or female connector with sealing washer and put the nut into the faucet, then tighten the connector. You will find the two connector nuts are made of brass so it’s very solid. At last, turn on the manual handle and the installation is complete. The sensor tap is ready to use.
We will have a trouble shooting list for quick maintenance.
